Detailed 9 Days Classic Kenya Safari

Day 1: Transfer to Masai Mara National Park

After breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel by the guide and will be transferred to the Masai Mara Game with a stopover at the Great Rift Valley for viewing. After about 5 to 6 hours, you will arrive in the Masai Mara in the afternoon. On arrival, you will have lunch and will embark on game drives in the park after. You will be taken to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Game Drives in Masai Mara National Park

After breakfast, you will set out for game drives through the unique park, which forms the northern part of the famous Serengeti National Park. You will be given a packed lunch. The Masai Mara supports the biggest population of cats besides other predators. You will spot elephants, lions, Cheetahs, Leopards, Giraffes, Zebras, and wildebeests. You will return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 of 9 Days Classic Kenya Safari: Transfer to Lake Naivasha National Park

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Lake Naivasha. On arrival, you will enjoy a boat ride to see the Hippos in the freshwater lake. You will also visit Crescent Island, which has a sanctuary that hosts Herbivores like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, and Hippos.

You will be taken to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park

After Breakfast, you will be driven to Lake Nakuru NP. On arrival, you will embark on game drives in the park. Lake Nakuru National Park offers sanctuary to huge numbers of native African animals, including waterbucks, warthogs, impalas, buffalo, Rothschild giraffes, elands, endangered black rhinos, white rhinos, and, occasionally, leopards. Day 5: Transfer to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, you will have a short morning game drive through the park and will be transferred to Amboseli National Park. Amboseli National Park, at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, 5895m Kilimanjaro, is one of the most popular of Kenya’s national parks. You will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Great Rift Valley en route. You will have lunch at a restaurant along the way and proceed to arrive in the late afternoon. You will relax by the lodge and then enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6 of 9 Days Classic Kenya Safari: Game Drives in Amboseli National Park

You will wake at around 06:30 am, enjoy breakfast, and then proceed for the full-day game drive against the backdrop of Kilimanjaro. You will be in the park, and a picnic lunch will be served at the viewpoint. Amboseli Park is one of the most visited parks in Kenya for its serenity and the view of the peak of Kilimanjaro during sunrise and sunset in the evening. You will spot the big five and other animals like the hyena, zebra, giraffe, impala, jackals, topis, among others. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Transfer to Tsavo West National Park

After early morning breakfast, you will depart Amboseli National Park through the shaitani lava plateau, to the legendary land of the “Man-Eaters” – Tsavo National Park. You will be driven for about 7 hours. The 21,000 sq km park is one of the largest in the whole world. This wilderness is home to over 1000 plant species, 400 bird species, and more than 60 major mammal species such as lions, huge herds of buffalo, the solitary and ill-tempered Rhino, and at least 7000 elephants. On arrival, you will be taken to the lodge for relaxation, awaiting dinner and an overnight stay.
