The 7 Day Uganda Wildlife Safari is a Primate and Wildlife Tour of Uganda. The 7 Day Uganda Wildlife Safari will start in Kampala, continue to Kibale National park for Chimpanzee trekking, Queen Elizabeth national park for wildlife safari and then Bwindi impenetrable national park for Mountain Gorilla trekking.

Safari Day of the 7 Day Uganda Wildlife Safari Trip
Day 1 of the 7 days wildlife safari in uganda gorilla trekking tour: Transfer to Kibale National park
You will be picked up by our guide after breakfast and will be transferred to Fort portal town close to Kibale National park. You will enjoy the beautiful scenery enroute through villages, lush green forests and hills dotted with tea plantations.

Day 2 of the 7 days wildlife safari in uganda gorilla trekking tour: Chimpanzee tracking – Bigodi swamp walk
You will be transferred to Kibale National park headquarters after breakfast for a briefing ahead of the chimpanzee tracking.
You will then embark on primates viewing in the forest spending half a day searching for chimpazees and other primates including Phoestes, Red-Colobus, Blue, Red-tailed and Grey cheeked Mangabeys swinging through the dense forest and birds, butterflies and many small insects.
Kibale Forest National park boasts the highest number of primate species in the world, including the chimpanzees with approximately 5,000 chimpanzees living in the wild in Uganda.
After lunch, a visit to Bigodi swamp eco tourism site in which you will also encounter beautiful flora and fauna. This walk is excellent for viewing different bird species like the Great blue Turacco, Rwenzori Turaco, Narina Trogon, and little Bulbul.

Day 3 of the 7 days wildlife safari in uganda gorilla trekking tour: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
You will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park after your breakfast, which is a home to a high concentration of Uganda’s mammals that include tree climbing and savanna lions, elephants, wart hogs, Uganda kob, water buck, cape buffalo, hippos, leopards, as well as more than 600 species of birds that include the African spoon bill, pied kingfishers, fish eagles, pelicans, vultures
Queen Elizabeth National park is Uganda’s second largest park boast a huge number of hippos and elephants; it also contains the lions, Uganda Kob, warthog and waterbuck.
You will enjoy lunch and relax at Mweya safari lodge.

Day 4 of the 7 days wildlife safari in uganda gorilla trekking tour: Game drive & Kazinga channel boat safari
You will set off early morning after a light cup of coffee/tea for a morning game drive to watch the wildlife in the park including the elephant, Buffalo, Lion, Waterbuck, Leopard, Uganda Kob, and many Warthogs.
Return to the lodge for a late breakfast after.
In the afternoon you will take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel which joins Lake George and Lake Edward. You will the school of hippos and a variety of other animals along the ride.
You may also see buffalo, crocodile, bathing elephant, and a range of beautiful birds.
Day 5 of the 7 days wildlife safari in uganda gorilla trekking tour: Tree climbing lions- transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
You will be transferred to the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park, the famous Ishasha area, for a game drive searching for the tree climbing lions
Lunch will be at Ishasha Wilderness Camp in Ishasha.
After lunch you will be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to Mountain Gorillas.
Dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs/ Volcano lodge (Mid-range)/Buhoma community rest camp(Budget).
Day 6 of the 7 days wildlife safari in uganda gorilla trekking tour: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Forest
You will assemble at the park headquarters for briefing from the park rangers after breakfast ahead of gorilla trekking.
Proceed for gorilla trekking in the forest that may last 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the animals.
Meet and stay with the animals for a maximum of one hour, then descend to the park headquarters and then to your Lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the evening, you may go for community walk in the nearby Batwa community, where you will be entertained and given tales of their unique culture.
Dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs/ Volcano lodge (Mid-range)/Buhoma community rest camp(Budget).
Day 7 of the 7 days wildlife safari in uganda gorilla trekking tour: Transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe
You will be transferred to Kampala or Entebbe after breakfast with a stopover at the Equator for pictures enroute.
Accommodation for tonight is not inclusive in the program but can be arranged on request.

Mgahinga Gorilla National Park sits high in the clouds, at an altitude of between 2,227m and 4,127m. As its name suggests, it was created to protect the rare mountain gorillas that inhabit its dense forests, and it is also an important habitat for the endangered golden monkey.
