Day 1 of the 7 days Uganda birding Safari
You will be picked from your hotel by our guide and will be briefed about the tour. You will then be transferred to the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (U.W.E.C) Entebbe in search of a variety of birds such as pelicans, ostrich, parrots, crowned cranes, weaver birds such as the orange weaver, black necked baglafect, the northern masked weaver and the shoe bill storks.
You will have lunch break and then proceed to the botanical gardens in Entebbe in search of other birds such as the yellow-throated leaf love, the great blue Turaco, Ross’s Turaco, the black and white casqued hornbill, the pied hornbill. Yellow backed weaver, orange weaver, brown-throated weaver, and great reed warbler, sedge warbler and the fish eagle.
Dinner and overnight at the Forest Cottages in Ntinda / Red Chilli.
Day 2 of the 7 days Uganda birding Safari
You will be transferred to Lake Mburo National Park with a brief stop at the Equator. You will begin biriding in the park as you turn off to Nshara gate.
Birds to look out for include the Handsome Francolin, Pink baked Pelican, Bee-eaters, Helmeted Guinea fowl, lilac-breasted roller, red faced barbet, Rufuos bellied heron, green capped Eremomela, long tailed Cisticola, the Malachite and Pied King fishers.
You will proceed to the lakeside for a boat ride after lunch. You will sight the African water rail, black bellied bustard, brown chested lapwing, Rufous naped lark, lilac breasted roller, lesser and greater swamp warbler, papyrus yellow warbler, papyrus gonolek, king fishers, herons and the elusive shoebill.

Day 3 of the 7 days Uganda birding Safari
After breakfast you will embark on an early morning nature walk in search for the Bare faced go away Bird, Lead Coloured fly catcher, African Drongo, Blue Eared Glossy starling, the Verreaux’s Eagle Owl and the Yellow billed ox pecker. Return to the lodge for lunch and continue birding after lunch.

Day 4 of the 7 days Uganda birding Safari
You will have an early morning game drive along the zebra track in search of bird species such as the African Wattled plover, narinas trogon, coqui Francolin, rufous chested swallow, temmricks courser, deidric cuckoo and the black headed weaver.
You will have a late breakfast and proceed to Queen Elizabeth with a brief stop in Mbarara for lunch.

Day 5 of the 7 days Uganda birding Safari
Queen Elizabeth National Park is a home to over 600 bird species. It is one of the richest and best managed parks in Africa and supports an astounding density of flora and fauna.
You will have an early morning game drive after breakfast through the Kasenyi tracks and the Kikorongo crater area. The drive will enable you sight various bird species like the martial eagle, rupells griffon vulture and weavers.
You will return to the lodge for Lunch break, then drive to the dock on the channel, which joins lakes Edward and George.
This water way is a birders paradise and those who experience it consider it the highlight of their entire African skimmer, pallid harrier, great snipe, papyrus gonolek, gull billed tern, Madagascar pond heron, lesser kestrel and the rare shoe bill stork. Also look out for the elusive leopard, schools of hippos, elephants and the comical warthog.

Day 6 of the 7 days Uganda birding Safari
You will be driven to Maramagambo after an early breakfast forest for a foot safari through the forest. Bird species to look out for here include the bat hawks, brown eared woodpecker, fawn breasted Waxbill, Sulphur breasted bush shrike, and dark capped yellow warbler, red headed blue bill, African Finfoot and the Eurasian golden oriole. On a good day black and white colobus monkeys may also be spotted.

Mgahinga Gorilla National Park sits high in the clouds, at an altitude of between 2,227m and 4,127m. As its name suggests, it was created to protect the rare mountain gorillas that inhabit its dense forests, and it is also an important habitat for the endangered golden monkey.
