You will be picked by our tour guide from your hotel and be transferred by road to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

You will have lunch in Mbarara enroute. Queen Elizabeth National Park is understandably Uganda’s most popular tourist destination.

The park’s diverse ecosystems, which include sprawling savanna, shady, humid forests, sparkling lakes and fertile wetlands, make it the ideal habitat for classic big game, ten primate species including chimpanzees and over 600 species of birds.

The park’s magnificent vistas include enormous craters, panoramic views of the Kazinga Channel with its banks lined with hippos, buffalo and elephants and the endless Ishasha plains.

You will enjoy the unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. It is a 42kms channel that joins Lake Edward and Lake George.

The boat ride offers an excellent platform for photography along which you will encounter several hippos, crocodiles, elephants and over 500 bird species.

After breakfast, transfer to the park Headquarters in which you will be briefed about gorilla trekking.

Bwindi National Park is renowned for its impressive mountain gorillas, although it is unpredictable for how long you will track before finding them since it all depends on their movement.

You will set out with a packed lunch and enough drinking water, and you are advised to wear strong comfortable boots plus a light rain-jacket since the weather in Bwindi Impenetrable forest is highly unpredictable.

You will be availed with Walking sticks by the park rangers. Visitors are allowed to spend only one hour with the gorillas for the purpose of conservation.

Mgahinga Gorilla National Park sits high in the clouds, at an altitude of between 2,227m and 4,127m.
