Day 1 of the 4 Days Chimpanzee Tracking Safari Rwanda Tour & Lake Kivu: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
You will be picked by our representative (experienced Rwanda tour guide) from the airport/hotel and will be given a briefing about the tour. You will then be transferred by road to Nyungwe Forest National Park. Depending on the arrival time, you may have a nature walk around Gisakura tea estates.

Day 2 of the 4 Days Chimpanzee Tracking Safari Rwanda Tour & Lake Kivu: Chimpanzee Tracking
You will be transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing ahead of chimpanzee tracking. You will track chimpanzees and will have an opportunity to see other primates including the golden monkey, troops of Angola colobus, vervet monkey, silver monkey and the Olive baboon among others. You will also spot several bird species like the great blue turaco, the long-tailed bluebird and the paradise flycatcher among others.
You will enjoy a canopy walk in the afternoon.

Day 3 of the 4 Days Chimpanzee Tracking Safari Rwanda Tour & Lake Kivu: Transfer to Lake Kivu
You will hike to the top of the beautiful waterfalls after breakfast and will then be transferred to Lake Kivu by road after lunch. Lake Kivu boosts great beautiful sunset and sundown views. You may also have an optional cultural walk to the fishing village.

Day 4 of the 4 Days Chimpanzee Tracking Safari Rwanda Tour & Lake Kivu: Transfer to Kigali
You will enjoy a boat ride on the lake and an optional canoe ride to the hot-springs after breakfast. You will be transferred back to Kigali after breakfast with an optional city tour.

The Mubare gorilla group was the first to become available for tourism in Uganda in April 1993. Nine groups are now habituated for tourism, and one for research. Spread over a series of steep ridges and valleys, Bwindi is the source of five major rivers, which flow into Lake Edward. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park lies in southwestern Uganda on the edge of the Rift Valley. Its mist-covered hillsides are blanketed by one of Uganda’s oldest and most biologically diverse rainforests, which dates back over 25,000 years and contains almost 400 species of plants. Mgahinga Gorilla National Park sits high in the clouds, at an altitude of between 2,227m and 4,127m. As its name suggests, it was created to protect the rare mountain gorillas that inhabit its dense forests, and it is also an important habitat for the endangered golden monkey.
