On the 3 Day Mgahinga Gorilla Uganda Safari to Mgahinga gorilla national park, You will embark on a full morning game drive after a light breakfast through the park in search of shy elands, buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, Topis, Impalas and many more.

The game drive will last about three hours after which you will return to the lodge for full breakfast and pick up luggage from hotel rooms.

You will drive out of the park through game trails and will have lunch in Masaka with a stopover at the equator for photos.

You will be picked from your hotel after breakfast by our guide and will be transferred to Mgahinga gorilla National park by road reaching in the evening.
You will have a stopover at the Uganda equator for pictures and lunch in Mbarara at Igongo cultural center. You will have dinner at the hotel.

  • Day 2 of the 3 Day Mgahinga Gorilla Uganda Safari Tour: Gorilla tracking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, you will gather at Ntebeko visitor center for a briefing by the UWA park rangers. You will then embark on gorilla tracking tour which will last about two to eight hours. You will sight birds and beautiful fauna. You will be allowed to spend hours with the gorillas after finding them. You will then be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi where you will enjoy an evening boat ride on the lake.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Uganda: Bwindi was gazetted as a National Park in 1991 and declared a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site in 1994.

The Mubare gorilla group was the first to become available for tourism in Uganda in April 1993. Nine groups are now habituated for tourism, and one for research.

Spread over a series of steep ridges and valleys, Bwindi is the source of five major rivers, which flow into Lake Edward. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park lies in southwestern Uganda on the edge of the Rift Valley.

Its mist-covered hillsides are blanketed by one of Uganda’s oldest and most biologically diverse rainforests, which dates back over 25,000 years and contains almost 400 species of plants. Read More Here…

Mgahinga Gorilla National Park sits high in the clouds, at an altitude of between 2,227m and 4,127m. As its name suggests, it was created to protect the rare mountain gorillas that inhabit its dense forests, and it is also an important habitat for the endangered golden monkey.

As well as being important for wildlife, the park also has a huge cultural significance, in particular for the indigenous Batwa pygmies.

This tribe of hunter-gatherers was the forest’s “first people”, and their ancient knowledge of its secrets remains unrivalled.
