Booked the safari "7 Day Uganda Wildlife Trip" in Uganda and it was from the first to the last Second everything perfectly organized. This was one of the most beautiful safaris I have experienced. My tour guide Gerad was a great driver, helpful, courteous and explained a lot to me about the surroundings and showed me other beautiful areas, I was safe with him a Fantastic tour guide Very nice accommodations with comfortable beds. I had enough time to observe and photograph animals If I do a safari in Uganda again then I will try to get Gerad as my tour guide. Overall, I would travel again with this company Mega Wild Safaris. They were helpful in signing up, communicating excellently all the time, and the safari was amazing
My mom and i had an unbelievable trip with Onan and Lisa. We cannot stop talking about it. We look forward to hopefully returning again to east Africa and touring with them again—they are very special people to us! Thank you for arranging our stays and providing us with best-in-class service!
"I booked the Mountain Gorillas through Mega Wild Safaris, Anne was the one who gave me advice and was quick with her replies to many of my questions. I had a couple of delays on my way from Kampala to Kabale so I got there just a short time before the gorillas visit. My tour guide's name was Chance, he stood and waited for me at the bus station, showed me where I could take a shower and get dressed. I then was able to head straight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The tracking was amazing! Such mighty and beautiful animals. The landscape is also something I will never forget. After the tracking, Chance and I went to Lake Bunyonyi where I had my accommodation. The day after Chance took me out to the lake, we had fruits, music and a good time enjoying the beautiful place we where in. We also visited a few islands along the way. One of them was Kyahugye Island where some of the animals were waterbucks, impalas, zebras and kobs. We also took a walk up on a mountain where we had a view that was breathtaking. Everything was just perfect thanks to Chance! I wish this man all the best in the future, giving his great experience and expertise within safari wildlife. Additionally, the hospitality he showed me throughout this experience made it all so pleasant and amazing."
My friend and me did 3 days tour to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. I was a bit scared to go as 2 girls alone, because of different stories i read, but i never ever felt endanger. Our tour guide was Onan. I have to say that Onan, beside his great personality, has excellent driving skills. One time it was so stormy and foggy, we were going up the hill on muddy cliff road, i was so scared, but Onan drove all the way up and down without problem. Eh, if you have experience of traveling in Africa, you will know why i am mentioning driving skills. Trust me, it is very important.
I booked a tour with Mega Wild Safaris knowing I was traveling as a single woman by myself to Uganda. Anne at Mega Wild answered all my questions before booking and made me feel really safe to take the 12 day tour. Upon arrival, my guide Onan picked was waiting for me right outside the airport to get my bag and to assist with getting a SIM card and changing money to local currency. He had a huge smile and was very friendly.

Mgahinga Gorilla National Park sits high in the clouds, at an altitude of between 2,227m and 4,127m. As its name suggests, it was created to protect the rare mountain gorillas that inhabit its dense forests, and it is also an important habitat for the endangered golden monkey. As well as being important for wildlife, the park also has a huge cultural significance, in particular for the indigenous Batwa pygmies. This tribe of hunter-gatherers was the forest’s “first people”, and their ancient knowledge of its secrets remains unrivalled. Mgahinga’s most striking features are its three conical, extinct volcanoes, part of the spectacular Virunga Range that lies along the border region of Uganda, Congo and Rwanda. Mgahinga forms part of the much larger Virunga Conservation Area which includes adjacent parks in these countries. The volcanoes’ slopes contain various ecosystems and are biologically diverse, and their peaks provide a striking backdrop to this gorgeous scenery. Read More Here…
