Detailed 14 Days Tanzania Uganda Fly-in Safari
Day 1: Arrival and pickup from airport.
On arrival at the airport, you will be picked up by our guide and will be transferred to your lodge in Arusha for dinner and overnight stay.
Dinner and overnight stay at Illboru Safari Lodge
Day 2: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park/Game Drives
You will be picked by our guide from your hotel after breakfast and you will be transferred to Lake Manyara National Park for game driving. You will be given packed lunch. This small but scenic park covers an area of only 330 sq. km (127 sq. miles), of which up to 200 sq. km (77 sq. miles) is made up of the lake when water levels are high. Lake Manyara is an excellent place for bird watching and a good area to find elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffalos and maybe even a legendary tree-climbing lion. You will be taken to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay after.

Day 3 of 14 Days Tanzania Uganda Fly-in Safari: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast you will be transferred to the Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing. You will be given packed lunch. This park is one of the most densely crowded wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals. The crater is often called “Africa’s Eden” and is also considered the eight Natural wonder of the World. Within the crater rim, large herds of zebra and wildebeest graze will lions sleep and laze in the sun nearby.
At dawn, the endangered black rhino will return to the thick cover of the crater forests after grazing on the dew-laden grass in the morning mist. Just outside the crater’s ridge, tall Maasai herd their cattle and goats over green pasture and through highland slopes. They live alongside the wildlife here as they have done for centuries. You will be taken to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay after.

Day 4: Transfer to Serengeti National Park/Game Drives
After breakfast you will drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park, enjoying game viewing. The Serengeti covers over 6,000 square miles of sprawling, unspoiled landscape.
As soon as you enter the park the wildlife viewing of the migratory animals will begin! You will search for leopards and lions and watch in awe as zebra, wildebeest appear from amidst the woodlands and plains. You will be taken to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay after.
Overnight stay at Embalakai Tented Camp
Day 5: Game drives in Serengeti National Park
You will wake up early morning and will embark on an early morning game drive in Central Serengeti looking for hunting predators, then return to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast, you will be given a packed lunch and will drive towards the North Serengeti for game drives.
The great migration is supposed to be in this area from late July to mid-October crossing the famous Mara River to Maasai Mara reserve in Kenya and back to Serengeti. You will have high opportunity to see them crossing while the crocodiles in the river attack them. The North Serengeti has also lots of big cats, elephants, giraffes, impalas, hippos and it is another good place to see the endangered black rhino. You will return to the lodge after for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6 of 14 Days Tanzania Uganda Fly-in Safari: Transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport/Arrival at Entebbe Airport
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure for to Entebbe International Airport. On arrival, you will be picked up by our guide and taken for overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kibale Forest National Park driving south via Hoima. You will enjoy the scenic features of tea plantations in Fort Portal. You will have a stopover in Fort Portal for Lunch enroute and will continue to the lodge after lunch.
Yow will be taken for a nature walk in Bigodi swamp eco-tourism site in which you will also encounter beautiful flora and fauna. This walk is excellent for viewing different bird species like the Great blue Turacco, Rwenzori Turaco, Narina Trogon, and little Bulbul. You will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8 of 14 Days Tanzania Uganda Fly-in Safari: Chimpanzee trekking
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing ahead of chimpanzee tracking. The park boasts the highest number of primate species in the world, including the chimpanzees with approximately 5,000 chimpanzees living in the wild in Uganda. The park is most famous of its 13 species of primates is the Chimpanzee. It is also a home of species like the rare I’Hoest’s monkey, the black and white Colobus, Blue monkey, Grey cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey and the Olive baboon among others.
You will then embark on chimpanzee trekking which may last 1 to 4 hours depending on the location of the chimpanzees. You may also spot other primates including Phoestes, Red-Colobus, Blue, Red-tailed and Grey cheeked Mangabeys swinging through the dense forest and birds, butterflies and many small insects.
You will return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon you will enjoy a community and cultural tour of the surrounding villages. You will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay after.
Dinner and overnight stay at Kibale Forest Camp
Day 9: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park /Game Drives/ Boat cruise
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park with beautiful scenery of Mt. Rwenzori. On arrival, you will embark on game drives in kasenyi sector of the park where you may have an opportunity to see the lions, leopard, giant forest hog, Cape buffalo, elephant, defassa waterbuck, Uganda Kob, topi and bushbuck among others.
You will have lunch at the lodge and will be taken for a boat cruise in the afternoon along the Kazinga channel, where you will have an opportunity to see a variety of birds such as the king fisher, herons, blue oraco and many more. You will also see many hippos, crocodiles, buffalos and swimming elephants.

Day 10 of 14 Days Tanzania Uganda Fly-in Safari: Game drives in Ishasha sector
You will have morning game drives in Kasenyi sector and a tour of the twin lakes around the park. You will have lunch and after be transferred to Ishasha Sector in search of tree climbing lions and other animals. You will be taken to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay after.

Day 11: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, you will have another game drive in the park and later be transferred to Bwindi National Park. On arrival, you will have lunch and relax by the lodge.
Dinner and overnight stay at KFC Cottages
Day 12: Gorilla trekking
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the park Headquarters in which you will be briefed about gorilla trekking. Bwindi National Park is renowned for its impressive mountain gorillas. Trekking may last 1 to 4 hours depend on the location of the gorillas. You will be availed with walking sticks by the park rangers. After locating the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend only one hour with them for the purpose of conservation. The ranger guide will brief you on how to conduct yourself while in the presence of the gorillas. You will return to the lodge for lunch.
In the evening, proceed to the village for a cultural walk to interact with the local people and participate in captivating traditional performances. You will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Entebbe arriving in the evening. On arrival, you will be taken to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary by boat across Lake Victoria where you will have a chance to view chimpanzees feeding. You will also be treated to sights of monitor lizards, birds, and photographic opportunities. You will have lunch and will return to Entebbe after, where you will be taken to the Airport for departure.
