Detailed 14 Days Best of Kenya Safari holiday

Day 1: Pick up from the Airport and Transfer to the Hotel

On arrival, you will be picked up from the Airport and will be transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel by the guide and will be transferred to Masai Mara Game with a stopover at the Great Rift Valley for viewing. After about 5 to 6 hours, you will arrive in the Masai Mara late afternoon and will be taken to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 3: Game Drives in Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you will set out for game drives through the unique park which forms the northern part of the famous Serengeti National Park. You will be given a packed lunch.  Masai Mara supports the biggest population of cats besides other predators. You will spot elephants, lions, Cheetahs, Leopards, Giraffes, Zebras, and wildebeests. You will return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4 of 14 Days Best of Kenya Safari holiday: Masai Mara National Reserve

You will wake up at 6:00 AM for early morning breakfast and will set out for a full-day game drive in the reserve. You will have another chance to spot the Lion, Cheetah, and Leopard roaming the vast grasslands in search of their next meal. You will also spot other animals including the impalas, warthogs, and many more. You will return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 5: Transfer to Lake Naivasha National Park

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Lake Naivasha NP, driving for about 6 hours. You will arrive late afternoon and you will check-in at Enashipai Spa and Resort. You will relax by the lodge waiting for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Visit the Sanctuary and Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, you will have the option to enjoy a boat ride to see the Hippos in the freshwater lake. You will also visit Crescent Island which has a sanctuary that hosts Herbivores like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, and Hippos. You will return to the lodge for lunch. You will be transferred to Lake Nakuru NP after arriving in the evening.  You will be taken to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay after.

Day 7 of 14 Days Best of Kenya Safari holiday: Game Drives in Lake Nakuru National Park

After Breakfast, you will embark on game drives in the park. Lake Nakuru National Park offers sanctuary to huge numbers of native African animals including waterbucks, warthogs, impalas, buffalo, Rothschild giraffes, elands, endangered black rhinos, white rhinos, and, occasionally, leopards. A large herd of hippos has a territory in the northern part of the lake. You will return to the lodge in the afternoon for relaxation awaiting dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Transfer to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, you will have a short morning game drive through the park and will be transferred to Amboseli National Park. Amboseli National Park, at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, 5895m Kilimanjaro, is one of the most popular of Kenya’s national parks. You will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Great Rift Valley en route. You will have lunch at a restaurant along the way and proceed to arrive in the late afternoon. You will relax by the lodge and after enjoy dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Game Drives in Amboseli National Park

You will wake at around 06:30 am, enjoy breakfast, and then proceed for the full-day game drive at the backdrop of Kilimanjaro. You will be in the Park and a picnic lunch will be served at the viewpoint. Amboseli Park is one of the most visited Park in Kenya for its serenity and the view of the peak of Kilimanjaro during the sunrise and sunset in the evening. You will spot the big five and other animals like the hyena, zebra, giraffe, and impala jackals topis among others. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10 of 14 Days Best of Kenya Safari holiday: Transfer to Tsavo West National Park

After early morning breakfast, you will depart Amboseli National Park through the shaitani lava plateau, to the legendary land of the “Man-Eaters” – Tsavo National Park. You will be driven for about 7 hours. The 21,000 sq km park is one of the largest in the whole world. This wilderness is home to over 1000 plant species, 400 bird species, and more than 60 major mammal species such as lions, huge herds of buffalo, the solitary and ill-tempered Rhino, and at least 7000 elephants. On arrival, you will be taken to the lodge for relaxation awaiting dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11: Game Drives in Tsavo West National Park

After breakfast, you will enjoy game drives in the park to see large herds of elephants, buffalo, common waterbuck, eland, rhino, and a wide variety of antelope. You will return to the lodge in the afternoon for lunch and relaxation.

Day 12: Game Drives in Tsavo East National Park

After breakfast, you will enjoy game drives in the park. Tsavo East is the largest protected area in Kenya, a land of unparalleled biodiversity and naturally home to Africa’s “Big Five” – black rhino, Cape buffalo, elephant, leopard, and of course, lion in search of red elephants. Day 13 of 14 Days Best of Kenya Safari holiday: Transfer to Mombasa

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Mombasa Serena beach. This stunning stretch of white sand paradise may be the finest in Kenya and the continent. You will spend time at the beach and shall have to enjoy a boat ride to the Marine Park within the ocean. The ocean here remains shallow by the shoreline so you can enjoy crystal views beneath the waves. You will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in the evening. Day 14: Departure for Nairobi/Zurich

After breakfast, you will enjoy time at the beach relaxing. You will have lunch and after will be transferred to Moi International Airport for departure to Jomo Kenyata International Airport.
