The ranger guide will brief you on how to conduct yourself while in the presence of the gentle giants. When found, visitors are allowed to spend only one hour with the gorillas for the purpose of conservation. You will return to the lodge for lunch.

After Lunch, you may have an optional visit to the famous Batwa tribe. The Batwa tribe, known as the “Keepers of the Forest”, are the pygmies of the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. They are a hunter-gatherer tribe that has lived side-by-side with the wildlife of the park for thousands of years.  Their visit involves a hike through the forest to the Batwa settlement. At the Batwa homestead, you will observe how the women prepare, cook and serve a meal. You will be entertained by ancient legends and traditional songs. Day 8: Transfer to Entebbe Airport.
